We have developed an engaging curriculum that educates youth about African-American/ Black history, heritage, and culture, incorporating interactive activities, workshops, and guest speakers. Bi-monthly session will be held for students in grade 3 or higher.

The Gathering is a monthly youth and family workshop that brings the community together for engaging, culturally enriching activities. Each session features a unique theme focused on education, culture, and community, providing opportunities for youth to participate in hands-on learning experiences while families connect and share in meaningful discussions. With a focus on empowerment, collaboration, and celebration of culture, The Gathering aims to strengthen bonds, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of belonging for all participants.

Roots & Rhythms" offers K-12 students and their families the chance to explore African-American culture through arts and entertainment. By attending performances, exhibitions, and workshops that highlight African-American history and heritage, participants gain a deeper understanding of their cultural roots.

"Soulful Stories" is an activity that celebrates Black children's literature, offering read-aloud sessions and crafts that reflect African-American culture. By distributing books written and illustrated by African-American authors and providing interactive experiences, this activity helps young students ages 3 to elementary grades (K-5), develop literacy skills, connect with their cultural heritage and develop a strong sense of identity.
